KELSI KLATZKY

An Overview

ABOUT

Personal Profile

My years of experience in corporate and fast-paced start-up environments have transformed me into a well-rounded leader, never afraid to take on new challenges. I began my career as a designer, then took on product development, production, and operations in the apparel manufacturing industry. After earning my Masters of Science in Project Management in 2020, I pursued a role that combines digital marketing, tech and the pharmaceutical industry. I’ve learned the nuance of an incredibly regulated industry, training and working in an entirely remote environment with global colleagues.

Because I’m adept at navigating ambiguity, my managers and teammates often rely on me to chart uncharted territory. With experience in both scaling and shrinking organizations, I’m always ready to create structure from chaos when the need arises. What truly sets me apart from other project managers is that I’m a rare combination of a creative and analytical thinker which allows me to drive outside-the-box solutions, continually engaging stakeholders, and maintaining project deadlines.

SKILLS

Professional Competencies

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

My current role combines process improvement with functional knowledge of pharmaceutical digital marketing practices, including a strictly regulated review process. As a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) I've utilized Agile principles to become the team trainer for my current Project Management team. In my Master’s program at NYU, I led several class projects including a Diversity and Inclusion initiative, an Agile software development project, and a city government organizational change project.

OPERATIONS

With five years experience managing the production and operations department at an apparel manufacturing business, I led the supply chain and logistics team, overseeing 40-50 fast-paced projects concurrently each month. I instinctually improved processes as our organization scaled and adapted to shifting retail trends. I've overseen numerous manufacturing projects, launched an apparel brand, planned initiatives to enter new product markets, and assisted in the creation of a digital marketing department.

DESIGN

My design background has made me adept at creating graphics in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I've crafted main labels and hang tags for apparel, polished images for social media postings, as well as designed logos, icons, and diagrams for project presentations using Google Slides and PowerPoint. I've drawn on my design skills to organize and plan events such as family reunions, baby showers, and parties with 200+ guests.
